First teaser: Dwayne Johnson reveals premiere date of superhero film 'Black Adam'
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is a walking marketing department in his own right, and the ultra-popular actor has once again shared news about his upcoming film Black Adam with its 225 million. Instagram followers.
Thus it has become both a recording from Times Square, where the DC Comics character Black Adam's yellow lightning is transformed into the premiere date of July 29, 2022.
Actually, the film should have premiered this year, but the Corona pandemic, like so many other premiere dates, has postponed 'Black Adam' until next year.
At the same time, The Rock has shared the first short teaser for the film, for which he provides the voice-over himself.
The film is a spinoff to Shazam!, and Black Adam is one of the comic book publisher's most iconic villains. Like the upcoming The Suicide Squad (which also just got a trailer), it is therefore a film that centers on the dark forces in DC Comics' large universe.
Incidentally, the former Bond actor Pierce Brosnan was revealed last week for a role as the superhero Doctor Fate. The character with the gold helmet also appeared in the TV series 'Smallville' starring Brent Stait.
Black Adam will probably premiere the day October 2022.
